Liberal Henry Kissinger Says...

Kissinger: No Military Victory in Iraq

"If you mean by 'military victory' an Iraqi Government that can be established and whose writ runs across the whole country, that gets the civil war under control and sectarian violence under control in a time period that the political processes of the democracies will support, I don't believe that is possible,"
When Henry Kissinger thinks you've got a quagmire on your hands... Yikes! Let's hope Nancy Pelosi and the Democrats use their new power to find a way to bring our troops home. Soon!

I'm not advocating an immediate pullout but there has to be an immediate move toward repositioning our troops that gets them out of harms way while maintaining our ability to influence and stabilize that region of the world. I'm tired of American blood being spilled for the benefit of Iran... And folks, let's face it, that is what's happening here. Iran is winning this war.

The sooner jackasses in the administration understand that the better. When they decide to stop sending Cheney out there to give speeches about the Democrats wanting to "retreat" and being satisfied with "defeat", the sooner this government can get to work with cleaning up the mess he and the President created. This is serious work and requires that politics be set aside. The President can't just continue to pay lip service to being non-partisan, he has to really mean it. He has to convince the Democrats he really means it because he and Rove have used bipartisan initiatives in the past to screw the Democrats, after the fact, in the past. The lack of trust in government is HIS FAULT and he needs to make amends. He and Rove have made careers out of smiling in your face and sticking a knife in your back... I still think the President needs to fire Karl.
