UPDATE: When I wrote the post below, Missouri looked like it was going to the Republican. That changed and there was a late surge by Webb in Virginia as well. As I'm sure you're aware, this means the Democrats have a chance to take both houses of Congress. This ought to humble George W. Bush and he ought to start quacking like a duck because he now has a babysitter for the rest of his term. Great job Dems!
Looks like the Dems will take the House. Praise be to God! All I ever wanted was one branch of Government out of Bush control. MSNBC is projecting the Dems will have a strong majority in the House. In the Senate, the Dems have made gains but I expect they'll come up just short. Still, with all of the Republicans running against the President's policy on Iraq, I expect even in the Senate we'll see pressure mount on Bush to REVISE the course. It won't be "full speed ahead" Mr. Cheney. Sorry asshole.
