Unforgivable

The idea that US weapons could be being used against our troops... Current shipments of weapons going to our enemies! I've known since Katrina that the Republicans simply don't know how to run our government but... I now also believe the folks in charge of running the military, those appointed and assigned to their duties by this Republican Commander in Chief, don't know how to do their jobs effectively either! Now, that is likely not due to the fact that they're Republican but rather to the fact that Bush is a total moron. And the fact that the Republicans in Congress have refused to hold this idiot accountable for anything! But the net result is the same, Republicans need to be checked and balanced out on their asses next Tuesday.

The American military has not properly tracked hundreds of thousands of weapons intended for Iraqi security forces and has failed to provide spare parts, maintenance personnel or even repair manuals for most of the weapons given to the Iraqis, a federal report released Sunday has concluded.

The report was undertaken at the request of Senator John W. Warner, the Virginia Republican who is the chairman of the Senate Armed Services Committee and who recently expressed an assessment far darker than the Bush administration’s on the situation in Iraq.
