Cut and Run

After all the Republican bashing of the Democrat's call for withdrawal, there is news that the President has exactly that in mind. Story here.

I'm just glad that the Republicans are finally adopting the Democrats plan. "Stay the Course" isn't a plan. Ignoring facts isn't a plan. Pretending all is well isn't a plan. But getting our guys the hell out of harms way while we let the Iraqis start taking control of their own destiny is a start. Somewhere Jack Murtha is smiling. He's been vindicated.

To be certain this remains the plan, we better find a way to get the Democrats in control of at least one house. If that doesn't happen, we know what will happen next.
