Jack Cafferty really spells it out perfectly here. This isn't about anything but politics. The Republicans are running scared because they've done nothing but rubber stamp the Bush plan to destroy everything this country stands for. They CAN'T talk about their accomplishments over the past 6 years because there aren't any! Instead they have to try to light up their base with divisive bullshit issues like this. It's shameful.
