Bush Had Chances to Kill Zarqawi

We've all heard stories from our Republican friends about how Clinton let Bin Laden go. And those stories all have some element of half-truth but there's always a reasonable explanation they don't accept. And those stories always seem to ignore the fact that Bush was President for nearly a year before 9/11 and he did nothing to try to terminate Bin Laden during that time. But, that was then and this is now. Bush has been President for 5+ years and it's time for the boy to become a man and stand on his own record.

We all know how that's going...

And now we also know that Bush let the #1 terrorist in Iraq skate. You're doing a heckuva job there Bushie!

Help me out with the time line here C-dog! Your link says that Zarqawi could have been picked off before the Iraq invasion. Did he commit crimes against the US before we invaded? Was Bin laden offered to us before or after he executed some terrorist acts against the US?

Rummy and the boys in Washington are constantly saying Saddam had Al Quida terrorists in Iraq before our invasion. Again, this is a stretch because Zarqawi was operating in the north, an area out of Saddam's control, so once again the connection between Iraq and 9/11 simply doesn't exist. However, you can't have it both ways Lance. If Zarqawi is Al Quida and he was in Iraq before our invasion, than yes, we was someone we should have taken out. If you blame Clinton for not taking his shot at Bin Laden than you should feel the same way about this. Remember, you're in a no hypocrisy zone here!
