There are four rock-solid reasons for impeaching President Bush: 1. According to the Downing Street Memo, he fixed intelligence to lead the U.S. into war. 2. Bush's advisors Karl Rove* and Lewis Libby leaked the name of a covert CIA agent in political retaliation for Joseph Wilson's exposure of Bush's State of the Union lie. 3. The Executive authorization of torture at Abu Ghraib and in Guantanamo Bay. 4 Bush has used the NSA to spy on Americans without a warrant in violation of the Fourth Amendment and 1978 FISA Act.

BTW, I don't have any political heroes--they all have shortcomings. But you and I both know of one man who had no shortcomings in his profession. I speak, of course, of Walter Payton.

We need to elect a new Congress that will support Congressman John Conyers' resolution for inquiry into impeachment for the lies and deceptions used to justify the 2003 invasion of Iraq (H. RES. 635) and Senator Russ Feingold's resolution for censuring Bush for the warrantless wiretapping of Americans (S. RES. 398).
