Isn't this exactly what Kerry said during the election? That it wasn't really about how we got there so much anymore (although that was obviously FUBAR too) but rather about how things have been run since. We could've done better for our guys and having someone with a bit of intellect would've been a good start.

Put simply: The country failed our men and women in uniform when we re-elected Bush. We all failed.
