Endless Civil War

Today the report is grim. Hundreds have already died this week alone. Our boys are in the middle of it. Not long ago, after being in the shit for years, Bush put out his "Plan for Victory in Iraq." Remember that? I guess his plan includes complete anarchy and civil war because that's what we have now.

Meanwhile, moderate voices like John Murtha were marginalized.

The Reuters reporter says: "The gravest crisis since the U.S. invasion in 2003 threatens Washington's hopes of withdrawing its 136,000 troops from Iraq."

And the latest story from AP on Iraqi troop readiness says the number of battalions capable of fighting insurgents has fallen from one to none. That's right, zero.

So, any hope of bringing our boys home "victorious" is evaporating.

There is no winning this one: Just more death, pain, anger and hatred.
