Another One to Add to the List

Lawrence Wilkerson, a former top aid to Colin Powell is now on the list of former Bush Administration insiders turning on the President while reporting things like this:

• Rumsfeld aides and others argued "that the president of the United States is all-powerful, that as commander in chief the president of the United States can do anything he damn well pleases"
• Bush was "too aloof, too distant from the details"
• Powell once yelled into a phone when discussing torture with Rummy "Donald, don't you understand what you are doing to our image?"
• Speaking for Powell he says: "What he seems to be saying to me now is the president failed to discipline the process the way he should have and that the president is ultimately responsible for this whole mess"
• He said he has almost, but not quite, concluded that Cheney and others in the administration deliberately ignored evidence of bad intelligence and looked only at what supported their case for war.

That last point has clearly been made over and over by recent revelations. Of course, that's just my opinion but something like 70% of the country seems to agree.
