Hey Dems!

I suggest you handle the Alito nomination as follows:

• Make a brief, unanimous announcement that Alito is unacceptable
• Publish your reasoning in a full page add in the NY Times and Wall Street Journal
• Make it clear that you intend to filibuster this nomination
• Force the Republicans to exercise the nuclear option
• Turn your focus immediately back to the Treason scandal.

Why? Because this will maximize the damage to the Presidency and because Alito's America looks like this. Alito is so extreme I doubt moderate Republicans would sign on with the nuclear option over this nomination. If they did, the end result would be a clean sweep of the 2006 elections. With at least one house of Congress firmly in the control of the Dems, we should be able to end the war and reign in Bush's agenda. One house is all you need to stop the senseless death and destruction. Without it, who knows how much further Bush will push us to the brink of extinction. The coming election is really that important in my opinion.

This is your time Dems. Don't screw it up.
