Unreal

So Bush is resisting yet another investigation of a tragedy on his watch. He says:

"There will be ample time for people to figure out what went right, and what went wrong. What I'm interested (in) is helping save lives."

Well... Let me tell you something Mr. President. The American people already know what went wrong! See, it starts with you hiring a buddy to head FEMA; A guy who has no credentials. Then it continues to you staying off the job for 2 full days after the hurricane struck! It continues when your Secretary of State went on vacation AFTER the crisis was in motion! And lastly, your VP is still MIA. I won't even go into the fact that levee funding has been cut over and over year after year. Nor will I mention the fact that FEMA was a cabinet level position before you became president and now it's part of Homeland Security, a bureaucratic nightmare YOU created and which has accomplished NOTHING.

You, Mr. President, it seems to me, are only capable of playing the blame game. Your team has been pointing fingers at the locals for days now. We know where the buck stops with your presidency already from our prior experiences with you. From the war you started based on lies to your team outing CIA agents and not being held accountable. Nothing touches you Mr. President. Nothing is ever your fault. And when it is, stonewall. Bravo W! Bravo!
