Let's Not Forget
A storm in the gulf seems to have shut down much of the outrage about our "boys" in Iraq. They're still there and they're still dying for Bush's incompetence and lies. Let's not let one tragedy allow us to forget those we can still help! The total number of military deaths in Iraq has now gone over 1,900. I want Bush to get on television and explain to the parents of those kids why they've made this sacrifice. When I think about the possibility of my own son being put in harms way because of a series of lies... I'm not sure what I'd do if I had the chance to "explain" things to W in person.
It appears things are getting out of control there. This photo was taken today and shows a British soldier on fire in Basra. The story here.
Some emailers continue to ask, did he lie? Here is all I need to know:

Some emailers continue to ask, did he lie? Here is all I need to know:
- Richard Clarke
- The Downing Street Memos
- Valerie Plame and Joe Wilson
- Paul O'Neill
For more info on the significance of these names, see my post here. The point is, they knew they were lying and they tried to cover it up. This is 100% clear. For people to continue to die for this President, a man who blew off his own military responsibility, is the ultimate and most despicable of ironies.
